Thoughts
Disclaimer: We are Redwood Empire fans. The regular Lost Monarch is a must-have staple on our bar. The flavor notes in this true rye (94%) are unlike many other and may not be to the liking of a traditional rye drinker. We find this expression complex and very interesting. Purchased at the same time a Old Ezra’s new rye offering and compared head-to-head. Both are unqique, with the Emerald Giant taking top honors for my wife, where I leaned slightly toward the Old Ezra. Regardless, excellent for those up for something a little different.
